EMB3Rs is an open-source, excess heat/cold re-use matching platform. It determines the costs and benefits of re-using industrial waste heat energy. The platform matches heat sources with sinks, to reduce carbon emissions.

HVAC equipment operates under the control of automation systems or a building management system. New fully autonomous self-adaptive Artificial Intelligence (AI) software is designed to deliver significant savings and dramatically reduce carbon emissions, enabling a self-operating building.

Energy security is not a new issue. We had the oil crises of 1973 and 1979. It has been good this time round that there has been concerted action in the EU at least to reduce dependence on Russian gas. Improving energy efficiency has always been, and remains one of the most powerful, and potentially quickest action.

The Global ESCO Network has conducted a series of interviews with partner associations in order to map barriers for ESCOs that can be characterized as regulatory in nature. The interviews have been open and explorative, but structured with the aim to facilitate a categorization and benchmarking across countries.

The report presents the integrated multiple benefits approach that expands the scope of energy audits and energy management systems beyond the traditional financial and technical concerns.

Oman Al Shawamikh Oil Services Company will cooperate with Frontech. Frontech launched the National Blockchain Platform to accelerate the digital innovation efforts in the Sultanate of Oman. Blockchain will be used to represent the production units in the sustainable energy network, as well as track and manage these units.

Less than 1% of Danish buildings are renovated annually. This means that, on average, more than 100 years pass between refurbishment of a building. An investment of DKK 5 billion in the renovation of municipal buildings can result in an annual saving of DKK 430 million.

The SUPER-HEERO project aims to provide a replicable financial scheme for energy efficiency investment in small and medium supermarkets. It starts from a high-level analysis of typical supermarkets energy systems and equipment, to create a catalogue with the most relevant and easy to replicate energy efficiency measures.

ProcuRE launched the first out of three phases towards reaching its goal. Six procurers from Slovenia, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Israel, and Turkey selected three innovative Renovation Approaches. The Call for Tenders was released on 24 November 2021.
