Three energy efficiency and renewable energy projects from Spain, the UK and Austria win. The winners were chosen because they put the consumer at the centre of the energy system. One winner, the Desendollat Project in Vic, Spain, achieved a 21% energy saving in 27 schools in two years. Another winner is EcoGator from Vienna, Austria, which builds on EUs energy efficiency labels. EU Sustainable Energy Week runs from 15-19 June. Browse the photos and read the storify.com article.
